Monivo – Expense Tracker ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may access, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you enter in the app

• Expense and income entries
• Categories, notes, and budget-related data

This data is primarily stored on your device to provide app functionality.

b) Device permissions

Depending on how you use the app, it may request limited device access:

• Saving receipt images (optional): If you choose to save a transaction receipt image, the app may ask permission to add that image to your device photo library. Monivo does not request broad access to read, browse, or collect your existing photos or videos. We do not use a system photo picker to access your gallery for core features.
• Sharing exports: You may share statements or receipts using your device’s share sheet. Shared content is only what you choose to export from the app.
• Notifications (optional): If enabled, the app may send bill reminders and related alerts. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.

You can deny or revoke these permissions in your device settings. Core expense tracking works without saving images to your gallery.

c) Device and diagnostics information

To improve app stability, we may use crash and error monitoring tools (such as Sentry). These tools may collect:

• Device model, OS version, and app version
• Crash logs and technical diagnostics
• Anonymous identifiers required for debugging

d) Analytics data

The app may use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage (for example, feature usage and stability). This may include app version, device type, and anonymous usage events. We do not use analytics to read your expense entries from your device.

e) Advertising data

The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Ad providers may collect and process data such as:

• Device identifiers
• Ad interaction data
• Approximate location (as provided by ad networks)

Ad data processing is governed by Google and AdMob policies in addition to this policy.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide core app features (expense tracking, stats, reminders, exports)
• Maintain app performance and fix bugs
• Show ads to support the free app experience

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited technical data with service providers strictly for app operation, such as:

Your in-app data remains on your device unless you remove it or uninstall the app. Technical logs collected by third-party services are retained according to their own retention policies.

This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
